Shower Head - Unclogging/Leaking

Turn off the shower's water supply.

Updated 18 February 2026
Turn off the shower's water supply.
Remove the faceplate of the showerhead or the entire shower head.
For an 8-hour soak, soak the faceplate or showerhead in white vinegar.
Remove any remaining deposits manually.
Reattach the faceplate or showerhead to see if unclogging the showerhead holes has fixed your leaking shower head.
PLEASE TURN OFF THE MAIN WATER SUPPLY SWITCH IN THE HOUSE IF THE LEAKING IS SERIOUS AND WATER CANNOT BE TURNED OFF. IF THIS METHOD DOESN'T WORK, PLEASE CONTACT US RIGHT AWAY.
