Extract from AS/NZS 3019:2007 3.2 Inspection Requirements

(a) Cables show no undue evidence of insulation or sheath deterioration and have appropriate mechanical protection for the environment in which they are installed;

(f) Switchboard and electrical equipment have no conductor insulation deterioration.

(e) There is adequate insulation and distance between live conductors and between live conductors and earth.
