Make sure that the gas main and the pilot light in the unit are turned on.
If the furnace doesn't produce any heat. Check the thermostat and the battery level. In some models, replacing the battery may do the trick.
Make sure that there is sufficient fuel.
If you smell a gas odor, immediately turn off the gas heater. When that's done, open the heater and find the gas supply valve and turn it off. Make sure not to light any matches. Also, contact us to get a technician to handle this issue as soon as possible.
Make sure the heater is plugged in and turned on at the power outlet.
Inspect the main electrical junction box for any tripped circuit breakers or safety switches. Check to see if your heater works by turning it back on.
Examine the timer and pay special attention to the ON and OFF cycles.
Make sure the thermostat is set higher than the room temperature or the temperature you want.
If the heater is not on after performing all of the above procedures, call us right away.
Make sure the heater's control panel is turned on.
Inspect the main electrical junction box for any tripped circuit breakers or safety switches. Check to see if your unit works by turning it back on.
Verify that the heating mode is turned on on the display screen.
Make sure the thermostat is set higher than the room temperature or the temperature you want.
If the heater is still not on after performing all of the above procedures, please contact us straight away.
Make sure that the outlet flaps are not closed.
Determine whether the air grill vent is open or closed.
