Electrical appliance - Mechanical Damage

If there is mechanical damage to an appliance, it could cause electrical hazards, risk of harm or further property damage. For example, a broken exhaust fan cover could lead to hazardous dust from the ceiling, or a tenant possibly injuring themselves due to being able to access the fan blades or electrical terminals. Other issues may be a failure of the Ingress Protection Rating of a weatherproof appliance, allowing moisture buildup.
