Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy

Scope

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, suppliers, and business partners associated with Taskforce Services, both in Australia and internationally. It covers all areas of our operations, including procurement, production, distribution, and partnerships, and extends to our supply chains—from raw material sourcing to finished product delivery.

Responsibilities

Management

  • Establish a culture of zero tolerance towards modern slavery and human trafficking.

  • Ensure policies, procedures, and training programs are in place to identify, prevent, and address instances of modern slavery.

  • Provide leadership and resources to support policy implementation and promote transparency and accountability.

Procurement and Supply Chain

  • Conduct due diligence on suppliers and business partners to assess compliance with anti-slavery and human trafficking laws.

  • Include contractual provisions and supplier codes of conduct that prohibit modern slavery and uphold ethical labour practices.

  • Collaborate with suppliers to address and remediate any instances of modern slavery identified in the supply chain.

Employees

  • Familiarise themselves with this policy and understand their role in preventing modern slavery.

  • Promptly report any concerns or suspicions of modern slavery to management or the designated compliance officer.

  • Participate in training and awareness programs to recognise the signs of modern slavery and uphold ethical labour practices.

Policy Principles

  • Zero Tolerance: Taskforce Services does not engage in or support any activities involving modern slavery, forced labour, or human trafficking.

  • Due Diligence: We assess labour practices across our operations and supply chains to identify and mitigate risks.

  • Transparency and Accountability: We maintain transparency and hold ourselves and our suppliers accountable for ethical labour practices and compliance with relevant laws.

  • Continuous Improvement: We regularly review and update our policies and practices to align with legislative requirements and international best practices.

Reporting and Compliance

Any instances of modern slavery or human trafficking must be reported immediately to management or the designated compliance officer. Reports will be promptly investigated, and appropriate remedial action taken in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Training and Awareness

Taskforce Services provides regular training and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and suppliers to educate them about modern slavery, its signs, and their responsibilities in preventing it.

Review and Updates
