We understand that safety checks can be inconvenient and may feel intrusive and we're here to make as quick and as easy as possible. With this in mind, we've compiled some helpful resources so you know what to expect.

Why are we here?
We have been engaged by your residential rental provider to carry out safety checks to help keep your home safe
Who will do the checks?
Our safety checks are completed by a team of 1-2 licensed technicians. This allows us to carry out all required checks in a single visit, so we don't bother you with multiple appointments
Do I need to do anything to prepare?
There are a few steps you can take prior to your appointment to ensure we can be in and out of your property as quickly as possible - we have listed these below
What happens during a safety check?
Smoke Alarm Safety Checks
(Up to 30mins)
Alarms will be tested (this can be noisy — sorry!), cleaned and checked for correct placement with batteries replaced and new alarms installed if needed
Electrical Safety Checks
(Approx 30-90mins)
Power may be turned off briefly (usually 5–20 mins - we try and keep this as short as we can), switchboard and safety switches are checked, and all appliances (including air conditioners) will be switched on to check they’re working safely. Access is needed to all rooms, power points, garages and bungalows
Gas Safety Checks
(approx 30-90mins)
Gas appliances are turned on and tested, gas leak testing completed along with testing for carbon monoxide on applicable appliances
