11/03/21 The service provided was excellent. That is, Fanco sent me the light kits with different connectors and an authorised electrician to resolve the issue.
However, the electrician had to cut and replace the wiring inside the light kit so as to make use of the correct connector.
I would like a confirmation from Fanco that the warranty for my ceiling fan is still applicable and is not void.
One other concern I have is, that if I have to replace the light kit after the warranty expires, I need to purchase the light kit and also engage an electrician to fix the connector (which is not required if the light kit had the correct connector). Jayanand , BLACKTOWN, 2148
06/03/21 Your team in head office were brilliant, helped all the way and we needed help as the first nominated electrician from JJC electricals was a real let down. Firstly it took over 3 weeks with no contact, when I contacted him to enquire about the delay he responded that he was still awaiting another job in our area. I said that was not good enough, we had a bedroom used by our daughter with no lighting. Eventually he made a date - he couldn't give me a time so I stayed in all day, no show! We arranged a second day, again he could not give me a time, again I stayed in all day, no show! At 5pm I rang him to be told that he had 'phoned in sick that day. By this time it was well after 5pm I rang your head office in Melbourne and spoke to a very helpful gentleman, who apologised and promised to to sort everything for us - this he did, 'phoning back the same evening with the name of an electrician who he promised for the following day, I was even given a time, the electrician arrived on time he was very polite and chatty, had the job fixed in no time, at last we have light. Full marks to head office and the electrician who fixed the light (sorry I don't have his name) for us. Unfortunately one bad experience with James, coloured our experience with your company.

17/02/21 Brilliant Lighting responded well overall to my request for a warranty repair of a ceiling fan light. Their online lodgment process to establish proof of purchase and installation was easy to use and the tradesman who carried out the repair was efficient and friendly. My only criticism is that I had to call Brilliant's warranty enquiry line twice -firstly so that they would process the claim and secondly because I had not heard from them regarding approval of the claim (although it had in fact been approved).
